Trying to Set Up SDK on Raspberry Pi

Post by tigerchitpile » Mon Aug 14, 2017 9:34 pm

Currently trying to setup the SDK so I can mess around with some homebrew development, however when I try to build the samples, I get an error.

It fails with the following output:

I did follow the instructions on https://vitasdk.org/, but being new to Vita developing, I am not exactly sure if it is an issue with setting up the compilers or maybe it has to do with a quirk on Raspberry Pi's OS, but any help would be appreciated.

You can't use vitasdk on raspberry pi because it's an ARM device, precompiled vitasdk only works on x86-64.

Oh wow, would have never thought of that. Thanks for the information. Haven't had time recently to mess around with it, but am looking forward to getting started :D

Why are you willing to set it up on a Raspberry Pi rather than your desktop PC?

I am willing to set up on desktop, just was curious about setting up on Pi. My desktop is Windows and, though there is directions to install on Windows, I like to work on Linux when I can. Also, always looking for things to do with my Raspberry Pi :)
