(FIXED)Vita shows 3.61. BUT henkaku still works.

Post by Thisguy » Mon Jun 05, 2017 1:26 am

so, my vita had sat around the house for the last year sitting on 3.60 with henkaku and all install v3 or v4 iirc. Turned it on today to update to the latest v10 and add a couple apps. System settings read 3.61. but it still installed/updated henkaku to V10 with no issues all homebrew launch and run. but i have no settings for henkaku under settings.. lol it is kinda nuts how it was on 3.60 sat and now 3.61 like wtf?! any new comings on getting it from 3.61 to 3.60? i honestly i have no idea what happened. PSN spoofing does not work either.. but as stated all homebrew load as expected and work.

**ReUPDATE**: VITAIDENT says

Firmware: 3.60
System version: 3.61

FIXED:
Removed All "tai" folders using "VitaShell" and Forced install (after reboot) using "R".

Settings show, and Version shows correct 3.60 ????-10
Problem solved.

Your taihen config is messed up. Reset it by holding R during installation.

I was actually in the process of writing as you posted. That is indeed what happened. just took a minute to figure it out after not messing with it for quite a while. Vitaident saying firmware 3.60 and system being 3.61 made me figure it was something to do with it. Thanks tho if i didn't find it right before it would have saved me lol.
